Shore TABLE

Shore Table is an homage to the North American east coast and its vernacular architecture. From the countryside's Maisons Canadiennes to coastal houses on stilts, wood shingles are a persistent and distinctly Canadian detail. One that quietly defines entire landscapes.

BC fir was chosen as it’s an emblematic Canadian essence with a fine, tight grain that holds its character under any finish. When milled into shingles, it reveals an unexpectedly rich surface texture, creating a fine, dense relief that catches light and reads as both rugged and refined.

The table's lines are straight and its proportions considered, keeping the focus on the shingles themselves. Half are lightly stained, introducing a subtle two-tone rhythm across the surface.
