SHORE TABLE

The Shore Table is an homage to the classic cedar shingled houses of the North American East Coast. From the country's maisons canadiennes to scenic coastal houses on stilts, shingles are a constant, a detail specific and dear to the Canadian architectural landscape.

The table holds to straight lines and careful proportions, letting the custom B.C. fir shingles and their strong texture take the lead. Half the shingles are stained to form a subtle checkerboard pattern, lending the piece some rhythm and a modern feel.
