tidal

emergency water-powered turbine
developed with Aluquebec

TidAl is a system of temporary hydraulic turbines designed to help cities recover from the effects of natural disasters. With its lightweight, modular design, it can be quickly deployed by sea, land, or air.

One of the goals of this project was to highlight the versatility of aluminum while showcasing local expertise. This initiative was part of the workshop "Aluminum + Design: New Perspectives for the Material," supported by AluQuébec and the CEAL.

Project developed with Roberto Apolinar Martinez Lissow
