CONNECTION CHAIR

Flatspot is a take on the classic signet ring. It’s shape consists of a symmetric revolution from which a part was cut clean, leaving a discontinuity in the otherwise circular silhouette. The narrow part of the ring serves as a reminder that vulnerability resides next to robustness and control.

Inspired by our affection for skating, flatspot makes allusion to what happens to a skate wheel when you do a high speed powerslide, but mostly, flatspot is a representation of the effects of taking risks and accepting the marks left in the process.
